From The Director:
Annie Get Your Gun is one of America’s most beloved musicals. Annie Oakley personified the American Spirit, and this great story was brought to life through Irving Berlin’s wonderful score. Her life was the stuff of legend – from humble Quaker origins in Darke County, Ohio, Annie Oakley (Phoebe Ann Moses) rose to the heights of renown as a world-famous entertainer and featured performer with Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. Annie Oakley and Frank Butler may have competed ferociously in this musical, but in real life she had a long and devoted marriage to Frank Butler and when Annie passed away, Frank died three weeks later, they say from a broken heart.

In the Conejo Player’s production of ANNIE GET YOUR GUN, Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show stars sharpshooter Annie Oakley, performed by Alison Friedman, and Frank Butler played by John Gaston. Wonderful songs from the show include Doin’ What Comes Natur’lly, You Can’t Get a Man With a Gun, I Got the Sun in the Morning, Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better, and There’s No Business Like Show Business. The show also stars Neil Pennywitt (Buffalo Bill), Amanda Dreschler (Dolly Tate), Abby Collins (Winnie Tate) Tyler Burk and Michael Byrne (Tommy Keeler), Derek Foster (Charlie Davenport), Rick Steinberg (Foster Wilson), Ken Jones (Chief Sitting Bull), Mike Moffat (Pawnee Bill), Roger Krevenas (Mac, the Prop Man), Annie’s siblings Tori Glasner, Summer Shafer (Jessie), Kendall Mordetzsky, Kathy Steele (Nellie), Amanda McCabe, Sarah Staitman (Sarah) and Bennie Glasner (Little Jake). The ensemble features Ian McLean (Running Deer), Paul Duffy (Eagle Feather), Erik Groth (Dining Car waiter) Evan Anzalone (Sleeping Car Porter) John Bileschi, (Messenger) Rosemary Moffat, (Mrs. Sylvia Potter-Porter) Chris Heeber (Mrs. Schuyler Adams) and Karen Staitman, Mara Gold, Karen Graham-Hanna, Penny Krevenas, Mallory Martin, Allison Parmenter, Heather Smith and Jamie Whittington-Studer.

The Team behind the scenes include: Director: Devery Holmes, Producer: Donna Holroyd, Musical Director: Linda Stiegler, Choreographer: Tami Keaton, Co-Costume Designers: Beth Glasner and Matt McGee, Co-Set Designers: Shawn McCabe and Sean Harrington, Lighting Designer: Jack Allaway, Assistant Producer, Mike Moffat and Asst.
