2018 Summer Workshops

July 21 - August 11, 2018

Conejo Players Announces 2018 Summer Workshop Series

This summer, Conejo Players Theatre will offer a series of free workshops – including classes in improv and stage combat – on Saturdays at 1:00pm, July 21 through August 11, 2018.

Taught by veteran performer Darrin Ingram, the classes are open to all skill levels – and free tickets to the workshops are available at conejoplayers.org.

July 21, July 28, and August 4 will be drop-in improv classes, where Ingram will teach the basics of how to think on your feet and be funny. Learn tips and tricks used by professional improvisers like those on "Whose Line is it Anyway?" or at legendary improv theatres like the Second City.

The class on August 11 will teach the basics of stage combat. Participants will learn stage combat safety, as well as practice controlled punches, fight performance, and work with stage weapons.
